What then proceeds is a completely fanciful mock biopic in which we see young Al Yankovic (played as an adult by Daniel Radcliffe) wounded by his working-stiff father’s (Toby Huss) refusal to let him follow his dream of making up fake lyrics to existing pop songs.
The insistence itself serves as the disclaimer. Which is of course a very Weird Al thing to do.
